The ferry boat to Elba Island
You can easily reach the Island of Elba by car where on arrival to Piombino. Four different shipping companies (Blu Navy, Toremar, Elba Ferries and Moby Lines)
offer comfortable ferry services several time per day. During the tourist season it's better booking the ticket.
The fastest route to reach Casa Isabella is Piombino-Portoferraio and the crossing lasts 40' with the hydrofoil and about 1h with the ferry.
How to reach Casa Isabella from the harbor of Portoferraio: 8 km only, really easy!
As you arrive in Portoferraio follow the sign “All directions”. Than turn left toward Porto Azzurro.
After about 800 mt. you’ll find a roundabout, turn right to “Lacona / Colle Reciso”. (Colle = Hill)
As you arrive at the end of the descent of Colle Reciso you’ll find a minimarket and a bank in front of you. Turn left until a cross where you turn right,
direction Marina di Campo. You are in Via del Margidore. Go straight down the street for 200 mt, Casa Isabella is on your right 20 mt before
the curve where is Ristorante Puccini.
Thanks to an agreement with the booking portal "Traghetti Per", my guests can obtain tickets from Piombino to the Island of Elba and vice versa with the various companies operating along the route. With the company Blunavy you can get advantageous rates.

During the day, enjoy the warmth of the sun on the beaches or the al fresco garden. At sunset, immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Capoliveri, Porto Azzurro, Marina di Campo or Portoferraio,
all just a 10-15 minute drive away. Alternatively, you can opt for a nice restaurant /pizzeria in the area and a romantic walk by the sea.
Small pets are welcome and can run free in the fully fenced garden under your careful supervision.
